Events, Public Service 1 Comment

We have selected our client for the 2007-08 Public Service Campaign! We will announce the winner for the first time at the Public Service Kick-off Meeting on Monday, September 24th.

Anyone who is interested in cause marketing, trying on a different position, learning what goes into creating a campaign, gaining more experience or just having fun and giving back to the community is welcome! I can tell you this…it will be an “adorable” campaign :).

This is a real campaign that can be included on your resume and will give your work exposure. In June, we will take our complete campaign to the American Advertising Conference in Atlanta, GA and compete against other Ad 2 clubs across the nation. To be one of the first to find out who this year’s client will be and see what level are participation would be good for you, join us on Monday the 24th. See you there!

September Happy Hour Venue Finalized

Events 1 Comment

It’s official, we’re going to the Firehouse in Pacific Beach for our September 27, happy hour. Our happy hours are traditionally on the 3rd Thursday, but we pushed it back a week to accommodate other associations. The Firehouse has a really cool rooftop patio and they’re extending happy hour prices for our group. See you then.

Whow! What a great event. We would like to give a special thanks to Jenifer Barsell for being a tremendous speaker and to the Keating, for hosting our event. Through our fund raising, we were able to donate $100.00 to our 2006-2007 Public Service Campaign recipient, the Home of Guiding Hands.
