Make sure you keep December 12 open to come to our combined Holiday Party with the New Pros and the Rotaract Club of Downtown San Diego. It seems like forever since we had our last happy hour at the Firehouse in PB. The fires canceled last months event, but we are ready to resume tomorrow at the AC Lounge in North Park. They are hooking us up with a bunch of drink specials, so come on out.

On Friday, AD 2 board members (Cheri, Vanessa, Chris, and me) are headed to Denver for the AD 2 National Retreat. We will meet with all the AD 2 chapters to discuss club management, programs and leadership development. The best part about the AD 2 retreats is stealing all of the other club’s good ideas. I take that back…the best part is the parties after words. Last year, we went and saw “Biff” from Back to the Future perform stand up. This year, we’re going to watch the Denver Nuggets play and then hit up the town.

Next month, on December 12, we are joining up with our friends at the PRSA New Pros and the Rotorarc for “The Premier” holiday party for Young Professionals. SideBar is hooking the first 50 people up with a free drink ticket and they will have free pizza for the first hour. Costs will be $8 for non members, $6 for members or $5 for students. All proceeds will benefit the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA. You will want to attend this event. Save the date!
